Our label was established in 1992, essentially as a distributor and wholesaler, even if it somehow differs from the ordinary way of selling records and musical items, since we tried to propose a new idea in the italian market, which was favourably welcomed by the most important shops and musical operators. In fact, they have absolutely proved, during these years, that the original and innovative idea is successful.
Our passion for music, basic in this field, pushes M.P. & Records to widen up the borders into the field of the production, both in the direction of brand new artists and in re-issuing of famous masterpieces of the recent past.
We try to show an unusual dynamism, meaning that we are not closed into one and only kind of music or musical enviroment: we have a simple philosophy we pursuit: "...We produced what we think is a good work...with no prejudices and without worrying about the sales....we require from the artists their talent and the satisfaction of having their works done in absolute freedom without taking care of the mere market rules....".
